Beyond dichotomic representations of gender and sexuality: figurations on the borders of religion in Northern Brazil

Based on a psychosocial approach to figurations of gender and sexuality in a profane celebration within a religious procession in Northern Brazil, this articles introduces inscriptions and readings as a strategy to address the limits and possibilities that we produceor expand when thinking about men and masculinities from a non-dichotomous perspective,concerned less about observing the obvious, and rather with exploring the instertices of imagination.Downloads
