Abstract

The origins of a primitive Christian identity are still a subject of debate, especially with regard to the formation of the Canon. When did the notion of "Scripture" arise for Christians? What ideas would be present in your early writings? And what dictates the origin of such writings? In this work we seek to understand how the existence of a "Primitive Canon" prior to the 2nd century AD is evidence of a primitive Christian identity.
