Este artigo analisa a formulação ideológica da política externa do realismo periférico adotada pelos governos da Argentina na década de 1990, discutindo suas origens no revisionismo da história do país no século XX e na busca de uma relação privilegiada com os Estados Unidos no contexto de reformas econômicas pró-mercado.
ABSTRACT
This paper analyses the ideological formulation of the foreign policy of peripheral realism adopted by the governments of Argentina in the decade of 1990, discussing its origins in the revisionism of the country´s history in the 20th century and in the search for a privileged relationship with the United States, in the context of pro-market economic reforms.
