Resumo

As resistências ao colonialismo foram estudadas sob diferentes abordagens desde os meados do século XX. Em geral, resistência, nativismo e nacionalismo foram articulados em modelos interpretativos sobre as independências africanas. Desde então, a história nacional africana nem sempre esteve afinada às narrativas pós-coloniais da literatura. O cotejo da história e da literatura, através de novas leituras sobre resistências, resiliência e afeto, pode contribuir para um melhor entendimento das sociedades coloniais e pós-coloniais. Sem perder-se na senda bifurcada da historiografia das resistências africanas, o presente artigo propõe uma história entrelaçada em que razão e emoção, afetos e desafetos sejam considerados no estudo das particularidades drama humano em situação colonial e pós-colonial.

Silvio Marcus de Souza Correa, UFSC

Sílvio Marcus de Souza Correa é professor dos Programas de Pós-Graduação Interdisciplinar em Ciências Humanas e em História Global da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Doutor pela Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Alemanha), foi pesquisador visitante no Instituto de Investigação Científica Tropical (IICT) de Lisboa, Instituto de Estudos Avançados de Paris, Centre d'Etudes en Sciences Sociales sur les Mondes Africains, Américains et Asiatiques (CESSMA) da Université Paris 7 e Centro Interuniversitário de História da Ciência e da Tecnologia (CIUHCT) da Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
