Resumo

A partir da análise imanente da obra de Friedrich Engels, buscaremos explicitar as determinações do Estado no autor. Ao analisar a chamada determinação em última instância, mostraremos que, longe de ela implicar na desconsideração das diferentes instâncias da sociedade, tal determinação implica no reconhecimento da diferença específica entre as funções distintas de cada uma delas em momentos outros da história. Mostraremos que, neste percurso, é essencial passar pela correlação entre Estado, Direito, religião, autonomização da esfera estatal para que, então, seja possível entender a especificidade da esfera estatal na obra de Engels.

Abstract

Having as a departing point the immanent analysis of the work of Friedrich Engels, we will try to make explicit the determinations of the State on the author. When analyzing the so-called economic determination, we will show that, far from implying the disregard of the different instances of society, such determination implies the recognition of the specific difference between the different functions of each one of them at different moments in history. We will show that, in this path, it is essential to go through the correlation between State, Law, religion, autonomy of the State sphere so that, then, it is possible to understand the specificity of the state sphere in Engels' work.
