Call for Papers - dossier on Research in Language, reading and writing and the scientific bases of literacy

The journal Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia, from the State University of Rio de Janeiro(UERJ), classified as A2  in Qualis-CAPES (Brazil), electronic ISSN 1808-4281, calls for submission on a thematic issue -  Dossier  on  Research in Language, reading and writing and the scientific bases of literacy. This dossier intends to offer a critical space for evidence based discussion that can contribute not only to the advances for the understand of the processes of literacy acquisition, but that can support public policies and pedagogical practices.

The Dossier will be volume 21 no. 4, and it is expected to be published in December 2021, containing  18 papers..

Texts in Portuguese, Spanish or English will be accepted, written according to the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA) with a maximum of 25 pages. Important submissions from authors who have published manuscripts or had accepted papers in Studies and Research in Psychology between November 2020 to  November 2021 will not be accepted. It is also not allowed for an author or co-author to submit more than one manuscript for the dossier. The invited editors, namely Márcia Maria P. E. Mota and Cláudai Cardoso-Martins are members of the Grupo de Trabalho (GT) of ANPPEP Socio-cognitive Development and Language..

We invite all researchers, psychologists or not, who develop studies in literacy, reading and language in conjunction with psychologists, to submit a for this thematic issue.
