How to Bake a French Boule

French boules have been around for hundreds of years. It is an old-fashioned recipe for large bread dough. It looks like the shape of a balloon that has been flattened. One thing I like about this recipe is that it is so simple to make and requires only a few ingredients.

If you're substituting flour or baking powder, you can use the traditional recipe. If you make the white French boule there is no yeast needed to be added.
