Brain C-13

This is not the case at all, and only leads to bigger Brain C-13 Review problems in the future. Children with ODD will most likely put up some resistance in the beginning, but you can overcome their tactics by staying firm. The ODD can be attributed to some of the defiance they exhibit. It is not because the child is bad. The behavior is bad, but that can be turned around. Parents need to establish rules for their household. Those rules need to be concrete. Consequences to breaking those rules need to be communicated as well. Parents can expect some bargaining, pleading and the dreaded tantrums in the beginning. This is normal, especially if the child is older and has been able to use these tactics to get their way in the past. When these situations arise, calmly stand your ground. It is not productive to try and explain why you have set particular rules and boundaries. An effective leader does not need to reason with their followers. Your job is to tell them what needs to happen and follow-up to make sure that it does happen.
