Resumo

O presente trabalho analisa a forma de pensar a revitalização dos centros históricos estabelecendo percursos. A forma de pensar a cidade visando à intervenção no seu tecido histórico esteve, em alguns casos, articulada pela interpretação estrutural da cidade. Neste sentido o conceito de estrutura pode ter um papel importante. Portanto revisar os conceitos aplicados na estruturação dos percursos no âmbito do planejamento urbano que contempla a preservação é aqui objeto de reflexão. A cidade tem sido frequentemente pensada como dotada de uma estrutura susceptível de representar o seu todo. Esta ideia tem sido, ainda que por vezes de modo subliminar, expressa por autores que tiveram grande influência na forma de pensar o planejamento urbanístico nas últimas duas décadas: Kevin Lynch, Aldo Rossi, Carlo Aymonino e Edmund Bacon. Como exemplo da definição de percursos como elementos estruturadores tomamos o caso do planejamento estratégico realizado em Lisboa em 1992 onde a ideia de percurso/itinerário entrou no discurso urbanístico, a reboque do ideário do Planejamento Estratégico. Este fato ocorreu no âmbito da programação de Lisboa 94 - Capital Europeia da Cultura.

Abstract

This paper analyzes how to think the revitalization of historic centers established routes. The way to think of the city aimed at intervention in its historical fabric was, in some cases, articulated by structural interpretation of the city. In this sense the concept structure can play an important role. So review the concepts applied in the structuring of routes within the urban planning that includes the preservation is here the object of reflection. The city has often been thought of as endowed with a structure likely to represent the whole. This idea has been, albeit sometimes in a subliminal way, expressed by authors who have had great influence on the way of thinking about urban planning over the past two decades: Kevin Lynch, Aldo Rossi, Carlo Aymonino and Edmund Bacon. As an example of the definition of routes as structural elements take the case of strategic planning held in Lisbon in 1992 where the idea of ​​route / itinerary entered the urban discourse, ideology trailer Strategic Planning.
