Verdade e compreensão na hermenêutica filosófica gadameriana

O trabalho tem por objetivo esclarecer alguns conceitos estruturantes do pensamento de Hans- Georg Gadamer, como sua concepção de verdade no interior das ciências do espírito, bem como o lugar da compreensão, tradição, pré-compreensões, história efeitual e interpretação. Para tanto, valeu-se de uma perspectiva hermenêutica, que não pode ser confundida com a noção de método, categoria duramente criticada pelo próprio Gadamer, como se verá no decorrer do trabalho. No que se refere aos resultados da pesquisa, depreende-se que a Hermenêutica filosófica, deixa em evidência o caráter histórico de relação do homem com o mundo. Assim, o traço estrutural que perpassa desde os comportamentos mais básicos do cotidiano, até a mais complexa teoria científica, é histórico e compreensivo – existir é colocar-se em meio aos campos de sentido, construtos ou imagens que se formam no interior da tradição e vão paulatinamente se sedimentando no tempo. A História efeitual marca a constante transmissão de sentidos sedimentados no passado ao presente, as pré-compreensões ou preconceitos, que permitem a compreensão, enquanto posição perante a coisa hermenêutica. Interpretar significa abrir o espaço para que a coisa em questão, gestada no horizonte hermenêutico de saída, seja recepcionada no horizonte hermenêutico de chegada e paute a interpretação.

Abstract

The work's purpose is to clarify some structuring concepts of Hans-Georg Gadamer's thinking, like your conception about the truth within spirit sciences, as well as the place of comprehension, tradition, pré-comprehensions, effectual history and interpretation. For this purpose, a hermeneutics perspective was utilized, which is different from the notion of method, since this latter category is hardly criticized by Gadamer. Regarding the research's results, it follows that Philosophical Hermeneutics reveals the historical character of man's relation to the world. In this sense, the structural trait that passes through the most basic behaviors of everyday life, to the most complex scientific theory, is historical and comprehensive - to exist is to place oneself in the midst of the fields of meaning, constructs or images that form within the tradition and gradually they settle down in time. Effectual History marks the constant transmission of sedimented senses in the past to the present, the preconceptions or prejudices that allow understanding as a position before the hermeneutical thing. To interpret means, therefore, to open the space so that the thing in question, gestated in the hermeneutical horizon of exit, be received in the hermeneutical horizon of arrival and guide the interpretation.
