Resumo

Object-oriented programming is an important paradigm and was created with the purpose to bring implementation solutions, trying to make reuse and code maintenance easier, however, it is not sufficiently capable to provide ways for separating common interests in the system. Thus, appeared the aspect-oriented programming, introducing the aspects concept, which are properties that affects performance or components semantic, exceptions treatment, data consistency, security, etc. The present paper aims to provide the study of aspect oriented programming to develop geographical information systems. This new model of implementation will make easier to maintain and continue developing the software, minimizing the costs of its projects.
