Trajectory of social poetics in the construction of the aesthetic perspective in the practice of caring, educating and research

The social poetics completes 20 years of existence in 2014. It is a qualitative research approach created in Brazil by the French philosopher and pedagogue Jacques Gauthier, serving as Foreign Visiting Professor at the Anna Nery School of Nursing / Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, during the period 1994-1996. Its validation as a method of research occurred through the doctoral thesis The institution of scientificity: institutional analysis and poetics of relations between mentors and mentees on nursing research, defended in 1997, in this institution, by Iraci dos Santos, Full Professor of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

A period of 20 years is characterized an existence with research in undergraduate, specialization, masters, doctorate and post-doctorate; national and international publications (books, chapters of books, online journal with the social poetics theme, original articles, theoretical, integrative review of the literature, current affairs, and editorial published in scientific journals qualified, and full-text articles and abstracts published in scientific events).

She grew up primarily in the areas of nursing, education, and physical education with certain developments in the areas of philosophy of law and solidarity economy.

UERJ was one of the cradles of her young age, because the UERJ Nursing Journal published, in 1995, the first articles, and the UERJ Extension Department published in 1996, the first book on social poetics, and naturally it should be the place of the first national and international congress of the social poets.

The diversity of the universities and regions that have received academic training and social poetic research requires exchanges of experiences, shared efforts of theorizing, collective reflections in the form of review and prospects of this approach that, each year, it stands as one of the most exciting and creative ways to research, care, educate and ultimately relating.

Integrator of the human being and communities, she has always been open to dialog and mutual enrichment with related approaches in qualitative research. Thus, we invite researchers confirmed in social poetics, as colleagues, without referring explicitly this approach to knowledge, not without cross paths of affinity with this, in developing jobs through this collective, supportive and sensitive method with research subjects, revealing their contribution to the caring, educating, research and social practices.

In this commemorative year of the still young social poetics we await the 7th National Symposium on Health Care and Nursing (ENFCUIDAR) and Social Poetic - Qualitative Research Congress, to be held in the on September 09 through 12, 2014, the strengthening and expansion of research methods given today's civilizational changes, constantly asking for more respect and love for nature, for others, and more efficiency in carrying out individual and collective well-being, as well as the implementation of an responsible, solidarity and quality education for all.

Justice is the union of these events explaining the 1st ENFCUIDAR was created from a social poetic inspiration, which is the realization of events, focusing discussions and reflections on the knowledge that guides behavior, attitudes and effective actions to promote the caring, educating and search with the people. In this sense, it is to remember that the theme of the event was The care for the caregivers, whose opening conference was given by Jacques Gauthier. In the same way, the subsequent developed themes on knowledge and practices of nursing care, pedagogy of care in health, caring for life and promoting health, and interdisciplinarity in the healthcare area.

It should be noted that, in this century, the researchers in social poetics has obtained results showing the contribution of this approach in the knowledge of the human being as a political and social being, with emphasis on the perspectives and practices of caring, educating and research, considering the completeness of the human being, as well as light / heavy technologies, such as the sensitive listening, artistic techniques to develop them and take care of non-invasive, technologies, and instituting a strategy research that includes the very process of nurses' work, which is the nursing consultation.

As a contribution of social poetics in this issue presents a survey whose results emphasize the need for comprehensive care to the client.
