Being contemporary

Studies of communication have opened possibilities for a broader understanding of social phenomena, cultural and aesthetic. The creation of the Contemporary Magazine - first academic publication of the Faculty of Social Communication of UERJ (FCS) - a search that offer airy space for reflection in this context, and encourage and integrate the practice of research between undergraduate students and graduate researchers at the FCS and other research centers. Its interdisciplinary approach will host several trends of research in communication and its consequences in Literature, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychoanalysis, Philosophy and Arts. With the Contemporary, we hope to contribute to expanding the scope of our discussions about communication, and promote the consolidation of research groups and their connections with education and extension in the FCS.
