Abstract

This work aims to provoke questions about the uses of amateur images in contemporary technoculture. These images have been participating more and more of the “routes of subjectivity”. As a motto for this analysis, we investigated the case of Cho Seung-hui, a student from Virginia Tech that, in April 2007, before killing teachers and students and killing himself, produced a material which named as Multimedia Manifesto.
