Photography and the new media: the collaborative creation in the Brazilian context

Abstract

This text will discuss the actual Brazilian cases of virtual creation based on photography. To do so, at a first instance we will describe the changes photography suffered from its transition from analog to digital, and the new social uses which have emerged from the transmutation of its essence. Afterwards different definitions will be shown about the new arisen photographic images which will contextualize these Brazilian works of art.
