Resumo

The high quality software development processcan imply in component reuse. Reuse demandsappropriate documentation. One of theapproaches to document software developmentuses the concepts of ontology.  Our researchfocuses domain ontology and software componentdevelopment.  It aims to test ideas on the use ofOdysseyShare available tools. In this paper wepresent an e-learning ontology, created andmodeled in order to provide support to thedevelopment and reuse of software component  tobe shared with software engineering community.To better expose our approach, VirtualClassroom, one sub sector of the e-learningdomain, is presented, and it is pointed out how wedeveloped some components for the described subsector.
