Abstract
The current work aims to discuss the actual estate of Brazilian's representative democracy under the scope of George Orwell's classic: Animal Farm. Debating the government adopted by our society as we know it allows us to claim the right as citizens, to whom an order is established to guarantee the full social development. Such discussion will make use of bibliography on the subject, focusing more on the masterpiece by Orwell, which pem1eates the whole article, as mentioned before. One of the results is the following conclusion: Brazilian's democracy has not yet developed to its full growth, whicb leads to questioning up to what point our State is trnly democratic and if our representative system as it was essentially is corrupted to the levei of representing only a minority that controls the complete State apparatus. This research searches no dogmatic truths, but studying what Brazilians conveniently cal! Democratic State
