Abstract
The present work has as its theme the discussion about the effects of Operation car wash in the Electoral Political Reform. Operation car wash, which is inspired by the Italian operation "Clean Hands", is considered the largest investigation against corruption and money laundering in Brazil. During the investigations, it is noticed that severa) política) agents are involved in the corrupt system implanted in the State, as a direct effect of popular and media pressure, it was approved this political refonn, which prohibits campaign financing through private companies, the main channel of money from the political agents involved in car wash. The investigation radiated effects for the fields of economics, law, politics among others, but the one directly affected by the researchers were the Brazilian politicians. This work was developed using the inductive method, through bibliographical and documentary research and aims to discuss some important points on the subject, without any pretension to exhaust it.
